4 years and a month ago (what? Really?), William Goldsmith was on to talk about Sunny Real Estate, Fire Theft, Foo Fighers and Assertion. Now Assertion has a new record that snuck into Conan's top records of 2025 "Basking in the Gaslight". In additon to that Sunny Day Real Estate has been back and playing shows ! The "Down in the Park" sessions with the Foo Fighters (as well as some great talk about Gary Numan).. the recording of Diary and history of that as well as revisiting. Which albums William can listen to and which he can't... and that there are 3 2" tapes of 90s Sunny Day Real Estate waiting to get listened to. Wow! All this plus SDRE and Fire Theft history. William's powerful friendship with Scott Jernigan of KARP, including a two drummer project! and lots, lots more. It's been a long time, let's catch up.
